Round 1 Lanna 14 August.

A great day and some great scores for the first round. It was hot yes, but overcast conditions and a slight breeze made it quite pleasant. The Chiang Rai Cup boys, Kieran, Jack and David Cameron have taken a good grip on the competition with net scores of 68 and 69 and stableford scores of 40 and 39 points between the three of them. There were also three other scores at par or under and plenty of point scores over 30. So the game is still on with three rounds to go all on different courses. There were 22 in the comp today with only one no-show Warren Simpson, we also had Joe Ritter, Les Harvey & Gus Guthridge join us socially.
